Postnatal Classes @ Glowing Mamma

'I absolutely love coming to Postnatal Classes. Pre- pregnancy I used to be a really keen cyclist, but unfortunately for various reasons during my pregnancy I was unable to continue. I was so keen to rebuild my strength after giving birth so I could safely get back in the saddle, and I saw Glowing Mamma classes and thought they looked perfect! I could bring my baby, and exercise in a safe and fun environment. I've made some brilliant friends from class too and the Whatsapp group is really helpful  to be able to chat to like- minded Mums! And bonus, the cake at the end is genuinely some of the best cake I've ever had!'

A community event usually taking place on the last Tuesday and Friday of the month.

Meet at the Swan Theatre, Worcester for an approximate 2-3 mile walk around Pitchcroft with other bumps and babies.

Meet at the Visitors Centre, Arrow Valley Park for an approximate 2-3 mile walk around the park.

Both our walks are flat, suitable for all abilities and for buggies and slings. Siblings, pets and partners also very welcome! You don't have to be a client of Glowing Mamma to attend, this walk is open to everyone, and there is no charge.

Hey there!

 I’m Rosie and I am a Personal Trainer and the owner of Glowing Mamma™ Ltd! I also work as a Midwife in Worcestershire, with over a decade of experience in both community and hospital settings! Although a long-time runner and strength trainer, it was during my pregnancy with my third child five years ago, I really discovered the amazing benefits exercise in pregnancy has antenatally, during labour, for postnatal healing and beyond. So in 2019 I made the decision to combine my two loves- women's- health and fitness to develop totally unique fitness classes!

The concept behind Glowing Mamma is it's 'not just a fitness class'. Using my expertise in Women's- health plus my experience as a mum of four, I developed the type of class I know I'd have loved to attend myself! I'm very laid- back and flexible in my approach to running classes- you are welcome to rest, grab a drink and use the facilities as and when you need to.

Glowing Mamma's 12 week Online Return to Postnatal Exercise Programme

Using low impact exercises focussing in particular on core and pelvic floor strength, this programme is designed to fit in with your baby, building up slowly over the weeks to prime your body and build a solid base, ready for your return to everyday exercise.

Suitable for all mums from birth onwards following all modes of birth.

'I have been joining the Glowing Mamma classes since I was 20 weeks pregnant. Meeting other pregnant ladies and sharing experiences every week. Rosie is a qualified midwife and tailors all workouts so that they are safe for pregnant women. I always felt safe and also energised after every class. It is also a safe place to share experiences and hear other women’s stories. I have also been attending the postnatal classes for over eight months now. Again, meeting other mums whilst working out is so nice. The classes are tailored based on what is safe to do after giving birth and they also give an energy boost. Rosie really doesn’t mind if mums feed or change nappies during the class. I love the workouts and relaxation at the end. Rosie is also such a sweet person so that makes the classes even more special.'

I started going to Rosie’s classes when I was pregnant with my second… I feel like Rosie and glowing mammas have been a big part of my journey both antenatal and postnatal.  Rosie’s classes are amazing and make such a difference not just physically but mentally.
